I had a knee replacement by Mr Scott in Dec 2012. He is absolutely fab, very approachable and understanding. The ward I stayed on was spotless and run very efficiently. I'm even going back in for my other knee next month. Have insisted on Mr Scott again. Would recommend him to anyone.

  • I have a ruptured bakers cyst, it seems to be coming back and my knee is again stiff and painful. Is there any treatment?

The only long-lasting treatment for a Bakers Cyst is to treat the underlying/related degeneration of the knee. That means some form of joint replacement when the arthritis warrants it. Aspirations/steroid injections into the bursa provide temporary relief at best. Excision of the cyst often results in recurrence and is not recommended.

    Mr. Simon James Scott
