A
Verified patient
Location: Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital diagnosis and shoulder arthroscopy

Excellent:
Mr Cavanagh is unique; he listens to his patient - even when that patient is a woman. He gave me the time to explain exactly why I was concerned about my problem. He neither brushed me off nor rushed into a diagnosis (both of which I had experienced previously).

You’re clearly on the waiting list at your hospital in Northern Ireland.
It sounds as though you have waited an unreasonable length of time .
I suggest you write to the Hospital CEO

  • Question about Muscle disease

I am getting pains and muscle stiffness on outer side of my entire right leg on standing for last three weeks. Pain diasappears after a few hours rest but start getting stiff after few minutes of standing. Tried light exercise and stretch a few times which made the pain unbearable. There is no back pain. Has anyone come across it before. What should I do next!

Difficult without knowing your age and sex ....
Could be a form of sciatica with boney compression of nerve root ( L 4 or 5).
Standing or lying flat usually aggravates as does walking. Sitting and assuming foetal position in bed relieves.
