After finding out I had a high blood pressure reading I was prescribed medication by my GP and told to monitor my own BP for 3 weeks . I found this to be extremely stressful and had no advice /knowledge as to what was ok or was dangerously high so I contacted Dr Mitra - I was seen very quickly he listened and read my account (writing it down was so much better as i did not miss anything ) and then understanding my stress levels were very high organised all the necessary tests immediately
I could not have been more impressed with their care and speed it was such a relief - I was fortunate to be given a clean bill of health but we discussed counselling to get to the bottom of the reason for the high BP
Simply outstanding care I will always use this private health care option in future

Excellent:
As always, you are put at ease and treated with respect and fully informed of your situation. A clear plan of action was discussed and Dr Mitra takes a personal interest in every patient which gives great confidence.

Excellent:
Professional manner and concentration on me as patient and my wife was superb, there did not appear to be any time limit on the consultation. Very reassuring together with a sense of humor.

Could be improved:
Not quite sure why a health assistant and nurse had to be present throughout the whole consultation. (Probably hospital practice.)

  • Hi sir.. my girlfriend has mild mitral regurgitation and its been from past 2-3 months. And now she is getting breathing issues and chest pain and I'm very much worrying about. What will be the status now. Is that can be cure? If yes then what precaution we have to take and how it works and how many days need to cure. But she is having medicine for mild MR but still she is facing trouble in breathing please help me sir.

I suggest she seeks a full urgent medical review if she is suffering chest pains and breathlessness. Apologies but it’s impossible to be more specific than this.

    Dr. Rito Mitra
