Twisted my knee diagnosed as broken cartilage is there anything I can do before 3/4yrs knee operation for pain?

Hello, sorry to hear you have twisted your knee. The right thing is to have an MRI scan. If you have a tear and there are no other causes see your GP for a referral to an Orthopaedic surgeon. They will check that the scan findings match what you are experiencing in your knee and talk to you about arthroscopy. The wait time isn't too long, perhaps 18 weeks.
