Contra Indications: Active liver disease. Depression. Phaeochromocytoma

Adverse and side effects

Sedation, headache, asthenia, depression, bradycardia, nasal congestion, dry mouth, GI upset, positive Coombs test, jaundice, haemolytic anaemia

Special precautions

Haemolytic anaemia. History of liver disorder. Monitor liver function and WBC before therapy and for first 6_12 weeks. Renal impairment. Anaesthesia. Porphyria. Severe bilateral cerebrovascular disease. Pregnancy, lactation
