Usage of Isotard xl

Indications: Prophylactic treatment of angina pectoris
Contra Indications: Severe cerebrovascular insufficiency. Hypotension. Sildenafil has been shown to potentiate the hypotensive effects of nitrates, and its co- administration with nitrates or nitric oxide donors is therefore contraindicated

Adverse and side effects

Headache. Hypotension with nausea and dizziness

Special precautions

Not indicated for the relief of acute anginal attacks. Pregnancy acute anginal attacks. Pregnancy and lactation
