Usage of Cabaser

Indications: Adjunct to levodopa plus a dopa- decarboxylase inhibitor in patients affected by 'on-off' mobility problems with daily fluctuations in motor performance in Parkinson's disease
Contra Indications: Hypersensitivity to ergot alkaloids

Adverse and side effects

Dyskinesia, hyperkinesia, hallucinations, confusion, GI hypotension, pleural effusion/ fibrosis, angina, oedema

Special precautions

Severe hepatic impairment, history of respiratory disorders associated with pleural effusion/ fibrosis, severe cardiovascular disease, Raynaud's syndrome, peptic ulcer, GI bleeding, history of psychoses. Pregnancy; withdraw at least 1 month before intended conception. Lactation
