  • Question about Rotator cuff repair

I have a complete rupture of biceps tendon. I understand it will not repair but pain will lessen with time though do not see how arm regain strength as wel without surgery. Is it sensible to wait and see or is the surgery more difficult say 3 to 6 months after the event?

Hi good question, Simply put. If you leave it to heal then a small loss of muscle mass and the snapped muscle will show when you flex but over time unless you are a body builder you should not even see or feel any different. If you want to try and reattach the injury by surgery then yes as above after 2 months would be the best time.
