Very reassuring and attentive throughout my entire journey. Dr Manderson was very confident about my care and offered advice and encouragement when I needed it and explained everything perfectly. Have had great results from my surgery and made even better by being treated by a lovely doctor.

Questions solved

%{Count} solved patients' doubts in Doctoralia

  • Question about Radical hysterectomy

Do I have to continue having check-ups after a hysterectomy?

It would be normal to have a series of check ups after such surgery as directed by your gynaecologist. The amount of review will be determined by the results of the pathology from the operation and any other tests such as MRI or CT scans.

  • Question about Obstetric ultrasound

Is it possible to tell the sex of a baby from a vaginal scan? 15 weeks gestation.

Yes it is possible to see the sex of the baby at 15 weeks gestation, this can be seen with either a vaginal or abdominal scan, No scan is 100% and therefore caution is always advised.
