I had a Pentruple heart bypass 10 years ago. I now cycle 30 miles every other day and have not taken any drugs whatsoever for over 6 years. I plan to live until I'm 100 thanks to Mr Wilson. His handy work will still be there when I'm finally in my coffin. It has been a honour to know him.

If it wasn't for Mr Wilson I don't think I would be here. He gave me and my family my life back. I will be eternally grateful. Couldn't have wished for better care from the staff but particulary Mr Wilson and his daily visits were very reassuring and helped speed my recovery. April 2012.

I had a quad bypass in 2001. From death's door to a healthy active life within a few days. My family and I are eternally grateful to Ian Wilson, a superb surgeon and a fine, caring, kind and modest man.

5 years ago Mr Wilson performed open heart surgery on me... will never be able to thank him and the staff enough... amazing people.

10 years ago Mr. Wilson gave me a quad bypass. 5 days later I was home and have now reached 80 entirely due to his skill. Mr Wilson is a modest, caring, world class surgeon with a sense of humour. On our annual holiday I write to him with pictures and somehow he finds time to reply. A lovely man!

Mr Wilson did my husband's first bypass at The Priory in 2000 and a second at the QE in 2009. Without his continued amazing care during a very long stay in intensive care, I am convinced that my husband would not be alive today. His care was second to none.

Mr Wilson mended me. He replaced my aortic value and repaired my tricuspid value 6 weeks ago, I feel like a new person. He has given me and my family a new life. Could never thank him enough for all his care and attention. Forever grateful.

Mr Wilson saved my life I needed 5 heart bypass grafts without his skill and expertise and also that of his team I would not be here today to write this. My family and I cannot thank him enough for what he did for me. six months ago
