Questions solved

  • Question about Skin cancer surgery

My husband has fair skin and many moles. He has regular check ups for skin cancer. At his last appointment the doctor told us that he plans to do surgery in his office. What exactly will the surgeon be doing?

You should ask the operating surgeon but it sounds like a biopsy which involves a small injection to numb the skin and then removal of the mole with a border of 2mm of normal skin and then a few stitches to the wound

  • Question about Anti-wrinkle injections

My mom is considering getting Botox injections to make her face look younger. I am worried about it. What are the risks of Botox injections?

There are few risks other than local bruising and swelling. Just be sure that it is a qualified and experienced doctor as most problems come from inexperience and putting it in the wrong areas

    Best wishes
