Impossible to comment without the MRI result in all honesty
Fellowship trained in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, Dave Cloke works across Northumbria Healthcare NHS Trust (North Tyneside, Wansbeck, Hexham and Alnwick Hospitals) as well as seeing private and NHS patients at the Newcastle Nuffield Hospital and Ramsay Cobalt NHS Treatment Centre.
His main interests are arthroscopic shoulder surgery, as well as shoulder and elbow replacement for arthritis and hand and wrist surgery.
He trained in the Northern region and in Sheffield, and has also completed an MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine at Bath University, and is now a tutor on the course. He is a Member of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine, the British Shoulder and Elbow Society, the British Society for Surgery of the Hand, the British Sports Trauma and Arthroscopy Association, the British Association for surgery of the Hand and the Combined Services Orthopaedic Society. He has been appointed to the Education Committee of the British Shoulder and Elbow Society.
Mr Cloke is an active trainer of junior surgeons and is the trust Royal College of Surgeons tutor. He was awarded Northern Region Orthopaedic Trainer of the Year in 2014. He has been awarded Membership of the Academy of Surgeon Educators.
He has published research in shoulder conditions and sports injuries amongst other conditions. He is interested in patient-reported outcomes, and can provide his personal patient satisfaction rates in many procedures he undertakes.
