Usage of Feldene
Indications: Feldene Capsules, dispersible, suppositories and melt: Rheumatoid arthritis,
osteoarthrosis, ankylosing spondylitis, acute musculo- skeletal disorders, acute gout, pain following orthopaedic, dental and other
minor surgery. Feldene dispersible: juvenile chronic arthritis. Feldene IM: Initial treatment of acute conditions and acute exacerbations of chronic conditions. Pain following orthopaedic, dental and other minor surgery
Contra Indications: Aspirin/anti-inflammatory induced
allergy. Active peptic ulcer, Recent proctitis (suppositories only)

Drug description: Feldene Capsules: 10 mg maroon/ blue capsule; 20 mg maroon capsule. Both marked Pfizer and FEL 10 or FEL 20, respectively. Special precautions Feldene
Patients with a history of upper GI disease. Therapy to be withdrawn if bleeding occurs. Renal or hepatic impairment, monitor on long term therapy; heart failure; elderly. Pregnancy, lactation. Phenylketonuria (Feldene Melt only)

GI disturbances, skin reactions, injection site reactions, oedema, CNS effects, malaise, tinnitus
