Are all bisoprolol 2.5 tablets heart shaped? In the last 12 years all the bisoprolols I have taken have been heart shaped. My last batch were small round tablets and since taking them my blood pressure has significantly increased!!

Question about Cardicor

  • Cardicor is the trade/commercial name for bisoprolol. After a period of time the exclusive licence to market a drug, expires. This s what has happened to Cardicor. Thus, any other company can now manufacture and market the generic equivalent - bisoprolol. This will explain why your tablets look different, but the drug should be exactly the same as before
